Das Verwall’s philosophy: everything just the way it should be
There are, of course, other apartments to rent in Lech am Arlberg. But we strive to give you more: We create a home away from home. It all comes down to the details: a host who senses when you need peace and quiet, and when a good recommendation will make your day extra special. Holidays without rigid hotel structures, but with the freedom to simply be yourself. You come as a guest and leave as a friend. You feel as if you’ve found the place for you, a place where you’re truly understood.
Valentina is the one who’ll welcome you to Das Verwall. This mini interview gives you the chance to get to know her a little before you arrive.
A father and his daughter arrived without any luggage, as their suitcases had got stuck somewhere, meaning their holiday had got off to a shaky start. We jumped in to save the day: organised ski equipment, and got hold of what they needed. They went on to have a fantastic first day on the slopes and were so incredibly grateful for something that, for us, went without saying. That showed me that it’s the little things and small gestures that make a stay truly special.
Most importantly: go to bed really early! Then I could spend lots of time in the super-comfy beds and wake up totally rested in the morning. I’d also organise a cooking and games evening with friends in the large living room: eating, laughing, and spending time together would be important to me. After a day on the slopes, I’d head to the sauna and then put my feet in the snow just outside the door to cool off. It’s these contrasts – hot and cold, active and relaxed – that make the perfect Verwall holiday for me.
Arrive, feel at home, stay – and then set off on an adventure. That’s it. Lech is really special, and there’s so much to do in this stunning landscape. Arrive, marvel, experience.
